Ocean Viking informs LYJRCC of supply ship requesting assistance from Ocean Viking

Ocean Viking sends an email to LYJRCC, copying ITMRCC and MTJRCC, and informs that supply ship asked for assistance

“… Please be aware that Ocean Viking has been contacted by M/V … via VHF, requesting assistance from Ocean Viking.

We are proceeding towards their position and will assist them if needed. We believe that they have 30 survivors on board.

We will request some coordination in this matter.

We will arrive near their position in approx. 1.5hrs”
